BROADLANDS, VA /October 13th, 2008 Van Metre Companies announced today the dates of their 1st Annual Oktoberfest at two commercial centers. Stone Ridge Village Center is hosting their event on Saturday, October 18th from 10am to 4pm and Broadlands Marketplace will be hosting their Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 25th from 12 to 3pm.
Oktoberfest is being hosted by Van Metre Companies with the help of the shopping center tenants. Oktoberfest Stone Ridge will include: Live music will be performed by the German band, Alte Kumpel throughout the day. Balloon artists, face painting, moon bounces, popcorn machines, and money machines will be available for kids and parents alike! Traditional German food and drinks will be sold by Glory Days Grill, Vocelli Pizza, Daily Grind, and Subway restaurants.
In addition to the above listed activities, at Stone Ridge Village Center, the American Red Cross is sponsoring a blood drive and Dulles Urgent Care will be giving flu shots and health screenings.
